Laura Meadows has enjoyed a career with JustChoice Lending since March 2007 and is currently serving as Fahe’s Executive Vice President of Lending, working with the Single Family Mortgage division and Fahe’s Community Lending division.

Laura is a licensed mortgage loan originator in Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia and holds her 502 Direct Loan Packager Certification. She’s a nationally-recognized expert in USDA 502 loan products, which have been the backbone of affordable housing finance in rural America for decades. Laura advises nonprofits across the nation on how to administer the USDA 502 Direct program, resulting in earned income opportunities and access to mortgage dollars for the limited-income households they serve.
Laura enjoys working with JustChoice Lending because, as a nonprofit, she sees the impact a group of people with a heart for a region can make in Appalachia. She also enjoys getting to know our clients and sharing their excitement when they become homeowners.

Prior to her work with JustChoice, Laura attended Eastern Kentucky University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While studying for a degree in Business and Technology, Laura worked for National City Bank. After four years, she was promoted to an Assistant Manager position. Laura worked for National City for seven years before venturing into the nonprofit world with JustChoice.

Laura has been a resident of Madison County for over 15 years and enjoys her life there with her husband and beautiful daughter.
